Bryan Minier Quoted by CoStar on Chicago Office Move to New Space in 155 North Wacker
Bryan Minier, Partner in Charge of the firm's Chicago office, recently spoke with CoStar News on the firm's move within 155 North Wacker Drive. The firm now occupies the 38th floor of the 46-story tower in the Loop business district, having moved up from the 30th floor. The new space is 9,854-square-feet and has been designed in line with the firm's national hoteling and hybrid work model.
"At the beginning of this process, I was skeptical of hoteling," Minier said. "I am no longer skeptical. I think people enjoy the ability to sit in a different space and change up your scenery a bit. It allows for more organic interaction to happen between different groups of people."
"I am surprised to see partners giving up their coveted corner offices," Minier said. "For a long time, that was a sign that you've made it. You worked your tail off for that prestige. It's interesting to see firms give that up quicker than I would have expected. It shows that partners appreciate the flexibility of working from home more than they value a corner office."
