Lathrop GPM Partner Loren Hansen Shortlisted for Minnesota Litigator of the Year by Managing IP
MINNEAPOLIS (May 10, 2024) — Lathrop GPM LLP is proud to announce that partner Loren L. Hansen was shortlisted for Litigator of the Year – Minnesota by Managing IP. The Managing IP Awards recognize remarkable intellectual property achievements and developments in the last year.
Hansen is a Registered Patent Attorney and first chair trial lawyer who focuses his practice on patent infringement, software/technology disputes, trade secret misappropriation, and other intellectual property litigation. He is also experienced in antitrust and other complex commercial litigation. Hansen represents clients in a variety of industries, including agribusiness, renewable energy, software, manufacturing, construction, high technology and oilfield services.
Hansen’s practice encompasses a variety of complex civil litigation. He represents his clients at trial (court and jury) and in arbitration proceedings throughout the country. Hansen is the practice group leader for the firm's IP litigation practice group. Formerly, he chaired the associate recruiting committee and was a member of the firm's finance committee.
