Lathrop GPM Senior Counsel R.B. Miller Named to 70 Over 70 List
KANSAS CITY (June 27, 2024) — Lathrop GPM LLP is proud to announce that Senior Counsel R.B. Miller has been selected by the KC Shepherd's Center as one of its 2024 "70 Over 70" honorees.
The 70 Over 70 awards celebration is a biennial event that honors 70 individuals 70 or older who are living examples of meaningful and engaged aging. The honor highlights people who contribute to the community through art, business, and philanthropy. Honorees will be honored September 21 at the awards celebration and "Moonstruck Ball," held at The View at Briarcliff.
Miller has practiced law for more than 50 years. He focuses his practice on product liability and tort litigation in both state and federal courts of appeal. Miller is a member of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and The National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. He received his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1972. In 2021, Miller was a recipient of the Pro Bono Publico Award from The Missouri Bar, an award recognizing lawyers and law firms for outstanding pro bono activities.
KC Shepherd's Center (KCSC) is a nonprofit that honors and serves more than 3,000 older adults over the age of 60 in the greater Kansas City area. KCSC is the original Shepherd's Center and serves as the model for the 50+ Shepherd's Centers across the country in 17 states, as well as Shepherd's Centers of America founded in 1975.
