Jennifer Reedstrom Bishop Named 2024 Notable Nonprofit Board Member
MINNEAPOLIS (August 13, 2024) — Lathrop GPM Partner Jennifer Reedstrom Bishop was named to Twin Cities Business' 2024 list of "Notable Nonprofit Board Members." One of 28 honorees, the list recognizes the professionals who bolster the work of dozens of organizations that support and improve the arts, education, health care, housing and many other key services in the Minneapolis community.
Jennifer has served on the Guthrie Theater's Board of Directors since 2017 and is currently the Chair of the Board. The Guthrie Theater is a fixture in Minneapolis and a is considered one of the nation's top regional nonprofit theaters. The Board of Directors is dedicated to the sustainability and success of the theater. Jennifer's involvement in the Guthrie combines her love for the arts and the leadership skills she has developed as a lawyer in the nonprofit community.
For many years, Jennifer has served on boards and committees at important nonprofit and local organizations, including the Center for Victims of Torture, Community Health Charities, Project SUCCESS and Cornerstone.
As a leading attorney in the Minneapolis community for more than 30 years, Jennifer has devoted her career to working with nonprofit organizations. She also is the Leader of the firm's Health Law & Nonprofit Organizations Practice Group and serves on the firm's Executive Committee.
The list of "Notable Nonprofit Board Members" includes only people who were nominated and accepted after editorial review. To qualify for this list, individuals must have at least five years of experience in their field and have shown the ability to effect change in their roles or areas of practice.
