Alexandria Darden is an attorney in Lathrop GPM’s Business Transactions practice group. Fascinated by the unique facets of where law, business and innovation intersect, Alexandria brings energy to advising clients on transactions involving various entities, including limited liability companies, trusts and corporations. Alexandria is admitted to practice in Missouri and Florida, enabling her to serve clients across state lines.

Alexandria joined the firm after serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Lisa White Hardwick, an appellate court judge for the Western District of Missouri. During law school, Alexandria represented UMKC School of Law at Baylor Law’s 2022 “The Closer” competition, which challenges students in high-pressure business deal negotiations, and competed in the University of Miami Law’s 2022 “Law Without Walls” international legal hackathon in Segovia, Spain. This blend of practical training and interdisciplinary experience has shaped Alexandria’s inventive approach to her practice.

Beyond the office, Alexandria actively contributes to the start-up community by providing pro bono legal services to entrepreneurs in the technology industry. She also mentors aspiring attorneys and participates in various bar associations including, the National Bar Association, Jackson County Bar Association and Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.

In her free time, Alexandria can be found cheering on the Jayhawks and the Kansas City Chiefs with family and friends, working on obtaining that coveted sub 3:30 marathon time and drawing inspiration from solo travels across the globe.
