Megan Miller is an attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group dedicated to helping clients protect and grow their businesses through strategic intellectual property and privacy counseling. With experience spanning trademarks, patents, data privacy and technology transactions, she guides individuals and companies from the initial concept stage to securing legal protections and market presence. Her diverse practice allows her to work across various industries, including artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, wearable tech, consumer products, marketing and cannabis.

Megan takes pride in her ability to adapt to the ever-changing legal landscape while ensuring that clients understand the legal process. Her background as an IP paralegal prior to becoming a lawyer has provided her with a unique, hands-on perspective, emphasizing the importance of both legal knowledge and practical business considerations.

Megan earned her J.D. cum laude from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2021, where she honed her legal research and writing skills as a professor’s research assistant and executive editor of Cybaris, an Intellectual Property Law Review.

Outside of her practice, Megan serves as the Chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association’s New Lawyers Section. She also enjoys exploring Chicago’s culinary scene, staying active and contributing to her community through leadership roles on several boards.
