Brian C. Trinque, Ph.D. named in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Go To Lawyers

BOSTON (August 22, 2024) — Lathrop GPM LLP proudly announces that Partner Brian C. Trinque, Ph.D. has been named in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s list of Massachusetts Go To Lawyers: Life Sciences/Healthcare 2024.

Massachusetts Go To Lawyers debuted in 2020 to showcase leaders in the Massachusetts legal community by practice area. Selected attorneys are nominated by their colleagues and chosen by a panel from Lawyers Weekly.

Trinque has been advising clients in the pharmaceutical industry on patent evaluation and strategy for over 20 years. He works regularly with multinational pharmaceutical corporations, mid-size companies, early-stage operations and universities to identify patentable subject matter, prepare patent applications covering those developments and prosecute those applications worldwide to create assets critical for the protection of commercial efforts. He leads Lathrop GPM's Chemical and Pharmaceutical Patent Prosecution Practice, where he plays a vital role in supporting innovation, promoting business growth and fostering intellectual property protection.

Trinque is a trained organic chemist with extensive experience prosecuting and assessing patent portfolios in all aspects of the chemical arts, including small molecules and biologics. This experience includes developing patent strategies from discovery to commercialization. In addition to his pharmaceutical expertise, he has experience in non-life science chemistries, including polymers, materials science, process chemistry, electronic displays, fuel cell technology, biofuels, nutraceuticals and food products.
